Mike Toigo

Occupation/Title:Trainer and Owner of Crossport Performance
Most proud of: Summiting world-class giants like Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, El Pico de Orizaba, and Denali.
Super strength:Climbing. I’ve summited every significant peak in the Pacific Northwest, and several across the world.
Secret talent: : I’m a pretty good cook. I’m still learning, but am starting to master paleo dishes.
In his own words:“To the extent possible, working out should be fun and should simulate real world movement, whether that be sports, recreation, or just plain chores. An element of unstructured play can really tie things together and offers a break from always having to keep track of the numbers (sets and reps). I also highly recommend finding an activity outside of the gym that gets you moving.”

Fitness Goals:: I started off as a cardio queen! I would run 2 to 3 times a day and do very little strength training, if any. I came to Crossport simply wanting a gym, but was introduced to a whole new world of fitness. I am more confident in my abilities, and see myself doing things I never thought I would be able to do. Every day I strive to better myself. For me, it’s a lifestyle.
Most proud of: My ability to commit to fitness. I wake up and show up every day- rain or shine. This sets up my entire day for accomplishments
Super Strength:Studying. I’m pursuing my BA in Law and Justice. I hope to become an attorney and practice family law.
